In this project, a client from the Philippines used Good Use GU-500 high-strength epoxy anchoring adhesive for the installation of a large outdoor letter signboard. Because the signboard structure was massive and constantly exposed to wind pressure and weather changes, the anchoring system required exceptional pull-out strength and long-term durability.
Good Use Chemical Anchors - A Complete Fixing Solution
The installation site was an open outdoor area with an existing old concrete foundation. Using traditional mechanical expansion bolts could easily cause cracking in the concrete and fail to meet safety requirements. To ensure stable load-bearing capacity and long-term durability, the client selected GU-500 epoxy chemical anchor, applying a chemical anchoring method to create high-strength anchoring points in the existing concrete base. The on-site installation followed standard procedures:
● Drill holes to the designed depth
● Clean the holes thoroughly using an air pump and steel brush
● Inject an appropriate amount of GU-500 epoxy adhesive
● Insert the bolts and rebars while ensuring proper alignment and positioning
● Allow sufficient curing time before performing load testing
The GU-500 epoxy anchoring adhesive has been tested and verified by SGS and German laboratory, demonstrating stable pull-out performance and long-term safety in non-cracked concrete. With low shrinkage, high weather resistance, and long working time, GU-500 is ideal for precision installations and heavy-duty anchoring applications. Even under high temperatures or humid outdoor conditions, it maintains excellent adhesion and structural stability.
