What is the shelf life of Good Use chemical anchors? How should they be stored properly?

Unopened Good Use chemical anchors can typically be stored for 12 to 18 months from the manufacturing date, depending on the product series. Please refer to the product label or Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for specific shelf life information. Proper storage conditions are essential to preserve resin performance and ensure safe application.

Shelf life is based on unopened chemical anchor stored under recommended conditions. The GU-100 polyester chemical anchor has a 12-month shelf life, while all other series offer an extended shelf life of 18 months.

➤ Recommended Storage Conditions
• Temperature Range from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F): Avoid extreme heat or freezing, which may compromise chemical stability and reduce resin flow or bonding strength.
• Protect from Direct Sunlight and Humidity: Store in a dry, shaded, and well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and moisture.
• Store Upright Without Heavy Load: Keep cartridges in a vertical position to prevent leakage or deformation. Do not stack under excessive weight or near sharp objects.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out): Use older inventory first to ensure products are applied within their shelf life and to maintain optimal performance.

Every Good Use cartridge is clearly marked with an expiration date and packed in protective cartons to reduce damage during transportation. If the adhesive shows separation, discoloration, or loss of fluidity, even if still within the expiry period, do not use the product.
